More writing life

It's a good thing I opted for indulgences rather than resolutions. If I had made resolutions one would have been to cut down on book buying. I've already purchased five books and it's only the fourth. :( No will power.

Evanne, you sound like me. I'm constantly picking up books wherever I go, although I'm not as good about reading them lately.

Costco gets me every time. And so does the bargain bookshelf at Borders. I mean, when you can get a great ST hardcover for $4.99, how can you resist??

And then, my grocery store (Raleys) sells Harlequin. My grocery store!! It's like they're getting me everywhere I go. LOL!

Lori,

I can empathsize with the not reading. That's the reason I'm trying to curtail my book buying. The two be read pile has expanded into two bookcases with sagging shelves.

I'm a hopeless book slut.

My grocery store sells them, too. I like it. More opportunities for sales when the time comes!

Evanne, I just have to know--how do you pronounce your name? Is it a long "a" or short "a" sound? I've been curious. LOL!

Melissa,

My grocery store too and I've gotten in the habit of detouring by the Harlequin section first . . . so bad.LOL

My name is pronounced with a short a - like Eve and Ann blended together.
